Recipes on a budget

Dinner for a family for less time and money than you might think.

Pork Roast dredged in flour.

This is another easy meal and the added flour makes the meat more flavorful and juicy. The flour and juices caramelize for that great umami flavor we all crave.

What you’ll need;

  • Roasting pan with rack
  • large Zipper bag
  • Meat Thermometer
  • 1 3-4 lb pork roast
  • 1 cup flour
  • seasoning for the flour

Preheat oven to 350F

Season flour and place in zipper bag, place pork roast in bag and shake until well coated.  Put roast on a rack in the roasting pan and cook for 1 1/2 hours or until internal temperature reads 165F.
